Bee City - Carlinville is excited to announce that we have completed the recertification process for 2023 and look forward to another year of helping out our local pollinators!

We create welcoming habitats for pollinators in order to share our little patch of the planet with these vitally important creatures.

• Farmers in our rural area are well aware of the importance of bees and other pollinators in maintaining our food supply. Fewer pollinators translates directly into lower crop yield.

• Scientists at our local college have pioneered the study of bees, pollinator plants and trees, and their environmental impact.

• Concerned citizens have begun to set aside land for the purpose of attracting and supporting pollinators.

• Educators have developed programs in our schools to ensure continued awareness and involvement in future generations.

• Our city leaders have committed themselves to the support of these efforts.
