Dr. John Marlin Presentation

September 23, 2019

Members of Bee City - Carlinville joined over 50 regional community members in attending Dr. Marlin’s presentation “Native Bee Fauna of Carlinville” at Blackburn College. Dr. Marlin and his co-workers have studied plant-pollinator interaction in the same area where pioneering work was done by Blackburn Professor Charles Robertson between 1844 and 1916. The presentation was sponsored by Blackburn’s Sustainability Committee - Bee Campus USA and Carlinville’s “Make Carlinville Beautiful” group.
